Idea lynceus, the tree-nymph ( Malaysian giant tree-nymph), is a species of Nymphalidae butterfly in the Danainae subfamily. It is found in South East Asia.
The wingspan is about 135–165 mm.
The larvae feed on Aganosma corymbosa.
